The Good Fork Pub
Formerly known as just The Good Fork, this restaurant closed for several years during Covid, and re-opened under same management with a slightly different name The Good Fork Pub and expanded outdoor space. It no longer takes reservations. It's one of the destination magnets on Red Hook's main drag Van Brunt street.
The place is hand-crafted by a husband and wife team, Ben Schneider doing the custom carpentry (admire the curved wood ceiling that feels like a vintage train car); wife Sohui Kim is the chef. Their food fuses Korean and new American cuisines and has attracted national press. They also do special events and catering.
